Transfer switch fire & recall

        I think that I will include the tighten of all power connections[ 50amp twist loc, 120volt power panel, inverter, etc] as part of preseason inspection……Rich

        This is one, of the several, reasons why I removed my transfer switch completely and replaced it with a sub-panel with two sets of manual 50 amp circuit breakers. I need to manually throw the breakers to switch to the front generator wiring, but no problem, compared to the fire risk and the constant hum of the transfer switch.
