This unit was purchased mid production 2012 IM looking at
Postby Tumble Weed » 15 Apr 2013 22:24My question has any one heard of this before. It’s like Carriage was making it and then closed the door
before finishing! Has never been titled. I haven’t talk to dealer yet, but will tomorrow.
Any suggestions or any thing any one can add. There wanting under 60000 for it.
Quote from the dealer on there web site.
“This unit was purchased mid production and completed by our collision center.
You can get your own furniture to put in this beautiful home.
You must see this unit to appreciate the quality that was put into it to finish it out.”Also will 350/3500 truck pull it 39ft

Postby zachlaplante » 16 Apr 2013 05:51Carriage went out of business last year and their assets were sold at auction. There were a hand full of units that were on the production line in various stages of production. You should not have a problem towing if your 350/3500 is DRW. If SRW you need to look at the truck tow ratings. Can’t say if the price is good or not, you didn’t state the model. It would also depend on the options installed.

Postby Running_Bear » 16 Apr 2013 07:20I have a 2012 37RSQ that I picked up in August of 2011. I am sure it was one of the last off the assembly line. The coach is made well and we love it. As far as the one you are looking at, you have the check to see what the build order was, if there is one and what it does or doesn’t have in it. I have all paper work to mine, so if you need anything let me know. I picked mine up in MI at Terry Town RV.

Postby Tumble Weed » 16 Apr 2013 08:23I could see where it was a posibility stopped mid-prod, but it seems like a long time since they went out of bus and this one coming out.
It’s full loaded big foot, no furniture, matress that’s not a biggie. IM planning to take a pdi list just kind of look at every thing.
It seems like a good deal it’s a 37KS3. The length 38 and getting into national parks is what bothers me more.
I figure I had some people here that knows about this thanks every one.

Postby jpatrickc » 16 Apr 2013 15:26We have a 37KS3 that came off the line in Marck 2011 and love it. We have had no problems with it and we paid under 65K new with all the furniture included. I have a spreadsheet for the 2011 and 2012 that lists all the options and prices somewhere if you would like a copy to add the options and see what the MSRP would be. Ours included Generator prep, solar prep, second AC, and some more options I don’t remember.

Postby Jpcovert1 » 17 Apr 2013 11:13Our 2011 Cameo has white Pex. All Pex is functionally the same. The color is convenient when stalling long run plumbing system where losing track of hot and cold is pretty easy.
