      Owners manual
      Postby slbelk » 23 Jan 2014 21:48

I have purchased a 2007 Carriage Carri-Lite 36 foot 5th wheel the title does not give the model number and I can’t seem to find the number on the trailer. I did not get an owners manual for the trailer so was wondering if anyone knew where to find the model number and an owners manual

Look inside the kitchen cabinets. Either inside the doors or on the back wall.
Somewhere around the outside step area the factory usually put a model logo as well

Our 2008 Cameo came with a “manual” that lacked in most ways. It did discuss appearance, but most of the manuals benefits came directly from the manufacturers of the appliances such as the convection/micro., water heater, etc. Only mention this because you can find much of what you need by taking a look at the “suppliers” list located in the documents & files section at the top of this page and then google for more specific information.

Just a suggestion in lieu of having the actual manual. Just so you know, we’ve referred to the manual only 2-3 times in our over 5 years of full timing as most of what we’ve needed we’ve found easily in general searches on line, or by asking in this (and the previous) forum.

Someone recently asked if anyone had the manual for their model and I think someone else responded with it, but as I recall it wasn’t a big issue not having it so if you don’t have any luck with that specific request didn’t want you to sweat it.

      Hope you enjoy!

We have a 2012 Cameo. I am sure the manual would vary greatly from a 2007, but if there is a portion of the manual you are interested in I could scan it and email it to you. It would not be practical to scan the entire manual. Also, if you have a certain question about your unit I am sure others on this forum would chime in. As mentioned the manual is general. My spec sheet is located in one of my kitchen cabinets.

We have a 2008, and the manual is pretty sucky. The comment above about referring to individual parts directly from the manufacturers is a lot more useful. Also this forum and the carriage yahoo group.
