New to us.

We finally made our first Carriage purchase, a 2008 Cameo 37RE3. I will be picking it up this Saturday, time for me to start getting it ready for a shake down trip.

Good for you! And, welcome. Mine was used too by a year and a repo. Got it for just over half of normal price. Used can be great deals.

I’ve did searches and always feel like the sites
I went to was not on the up and up.
Every one was a RV Dealer sale site and never seemed to have bank repos
I drove 2.5 hours to Denton TX with Explore USA and they finally
stated they didn’t have the unit. was a way to get me there, I was hot.

Well, we looked and looked for 2 years. Paper, craiglist (web site that pulls all craigslist), RV shows, and websites. We are in central Arkansas and we made “vacations” out of looking for our RV visiting every nearby state. We finally found a deal in Huntsville, Alabama. It was listed on CL. We called and got info and pics. Told them we were on our way with a check IF everything looked good. It did, and the rest is history. It was fun for us to look as it was moving forward toward our retirement. Paid $400 to have it delivered. Bought truck 2 or 3 months later…also newly used.

Sounds like you got a good rig.
We live in Longview TX and love going to AR.
Great park Tom Sawyer RV West Memphis.
Can’t wait to explore it more.
