A while back I replaced the halogen bulbs in the 2 kitchen celing lights with the biggest LED G10 replacment lamps I could find.

The LED lamps dropped the power consumption but produced less light so I put one of the halogen bulbs back in.

A couple of days ago I installed a couple of 8″ LED panel lights.

They are suppose to draw 1.5 amps each but with both on the battery monitor was is showing 2.2 amps.

The ceiling panel was cut with a razor blade knife.

        Great look!

I want some that brighten the insides when the slides are in and you come into the 5er from the bright daylight.

        Are they dimmable?

Are they designed for 120-volt A.C.  with an adapter to 12-volts DC,  or are they true automotive 12 volt that can live with the up to 14.5 volts that come from a charging battery?

        What is the source?

        Many thanks

The panel lights were originally purchased for the LR then I decided to replace the lights in the slide with dome light and use the panel lights for the kitchen.

Panel light are imported from China and sold to various retailers.  A search for “PA3C08 LED Light” will show several ways of getting a hold of them. Sizes range from 4″ -10″

I didn’t even think about the voltage range. They were sold as direct connect so I assumed that 10-15V is O.K. We’ve had them running with both the solar and battery chargers.

As you can see I didn’t get to fancy with the wiring.

I don’t know the number of the plug but they are common. I had some left over from surveillance cameras I installed. The plugs are held together with electrical tape.

Together they draw 2.7-2.9A not 2.2
