Hello All
This is my first post on this forum. I have used other forums and they all seem different.
I am about to pull the trigger on a 2015 Lifestyle.

Hi Phil, and welcome to the forum ! Lots of great info and helpful people here.
Which Lifestyle model are you considering ? We have a 2015 LS36FW and we love it. We bought ours used a couple years ago. Have been slowly redecorating the interior and doing some upgrades.
Best wishes and post pics when you get it !

Hi
Thanks for the notes. We purchased yesterday and picking it up as soon as the check clears,
Retiredfire
What month of 2015 was yours built?
Ours was built April 22 2015 but is titled as a 2016 however the LS38RS was only built in 2015.
The real mystery is the batteries were purchased in 6 of 2017 and the tires were manufactured in April 2017. The tires are Goodyear G614 a very high quality tire.
This leads me to think this unit wasn’t sold by the dealer until 2017.
It was obviously used for several years as is apparent by some of the markings on the cable and other connections in the convenience center.
The dealer we purchased from has been very straight forward with information about the unit.
It has the roof mounted Winegard satellite antenna I am not sure what service it is programmed for we are on Dish.
I guess I have taken enough of your time carrying on about our new purchase.

Phil P,
If you raise the sat, it should say Dish or Direct tv. Not interchangeable. If Dish, will be Western ARC.
A lot of the oem tires were undersized spec wise and grew bubbles within a few months/trips. Also, oem batteries often crapped out within a year if not keep full of distilled water and on a trickle charge (or disconnected).
Welcome and Safe travels.

Hi
I know full well about the problems with new units I purchased this Keystone product new in 2009.
I will never own a Thor product again.
However the information I have on the Lifestyle is that it came with “G” rated tires. When you get in that weight category even cheap tires commonly last longer that the real cheap tires found on the 7,000 Lb axles on the less costly units.
It really doesn’t make any difference we got the heavy frame and a lot of extras that didn’t come with the trailer new.
We pick it up today it is 100 miles from home so this should give me some idea how it tows.

Hi
We got it home with no problems.
I stopped after about 30 miles and check the hubs with a laser thermometer and found no problems.
I had noted the brake drums looked like the brake shoes would be a good bit wider that on our old trailer. The brakes are a lot more effective on this trailer than on the old one.
Last night we went checking lights with the idea of labeling switches.
When we lit the rope light under the front awning it worked well. Then when we turned them on again they only burned very dim. Either there is a dimmer control somewhere or I have a light / wiring problem on this one.
I have a question about the potable water tank. Where is the vent?
Another thing I am curious about there is not a gen set in this unit and it doesn’t look like there ever was but there is an Onan generator control panel mounted above the door with the slide switches.
That’s all for now wife will be cleaning things up and getting moved from the Montana to the Lifestyle today so I am sure I will have more questions.

Welcome to forum. I hope you enjoy your new to you Lifestyle 5th wheel as mush as the wife and I do ours. With the Onan panel in the coach makes me think it was ordered with the Onan prep package. They just never installed the Onan Generator.

Hello All
I have been looking around the forum.
I need someone to give me some advice on how to post I am sure using the New Member Introductions to post questions about components and appliances is not proper.
However I don’t find a directory to specific topics.
So far we are very happy with this purchase.
I am also extremely impressed with the selling dealer. They sell only used at their location in Lake Wales Florida but are very straight forward and DO NOT try to impress you with their knowledge if they don’t know the answer they say so.
