- This is a good android application I use it on my 7″ table, because I don’t have a smarter phone..lol
If this isn’t under correct tab please move it.
Been using this for a week IM doing 4 to 5 miles it logs miles steps time and calories burned.
Which amazes me how little I do burn walking 4 or 5 miles. Also it save the info and you can
keep up with your walks. It has settings for walking, running and riding.
Hope this helps someone..
Oh yeah best thing it’s FREE….Posted: 6:51 PM – Dec 30, 2013There are several variants of this app, the one I use is called “Map My Walk”. It is also available for iPhone. I use it all the time when I go paddling to track distance and pace. You can set it up to announce your progress at intervals (of either distance or time) if you want. A great free app, highly recommended.Posted: 11:14 PM – Dec 30, 2013Hey Kirk
I’ve been trying to find an updated “pedometer” as mine is outdated and it is hard to keep accurate. How accurate is this one? I’m looking for one that when i walk 100 steps it will show 100 steps. That way I can start out feeling it will be accurate as I do my workout. Thanks. Hugs, Digtfiver wrote:There are several variants of this app, the one I use is called “Map My Walk”. This makes it suitable for almost any activity where you are covering distance regardless of the type of movement involved. You have to wear your phone outside of your clothing so it has satellite visibility just like a GPS unit in your vehicle. I’ve found it to be pretty accurate. It gives you a visual picture of the route you have traveled while you are in a workout, and you can store the workout results if you like so you have a log of what you’ve done. There are a ton of other features which I have never used like pairing to a heart rate monitor. Very full featured for a free app, although there are some ads and upsell nags you have to deal with unless you get the paid version.Posted: 10:18 AM – Dec 31, 2013If you are looking for a pedometer I have had the most luck with Bosch Walk’Long. It seems the most accurate of the several I had tried.B.W.Gentry
