I have a bad connection at the powered awning plug into the side of the trailer. I can’t seem to get the thing unplugged. I don’t want to tug or twist too hard and there is a metal tab on the side, Don’t know whether to push it, pull it or what. It doesn’t seem to move easily so looking for any advice how to unplug it.

If its like mine, pull the latch and turn it to pull it out. Mine had a loose connection but it was behind the female plug. I had to take a broom and push up on the plug for the awning to move. The blade connectors on the back of the receptacle were loose so I gently squeezed them tighter with some pliers and plugged them back in. Here is a link to the connecter with a few pics showing how to do this.

Thanks to both of you. It appears that I have a powercon 32 A connector with the metal release tab. I will go at it this weekend, now that I know how to unlock it.
