Just bought one of these to add to cameo, found a perfect spot in the basement to install under steps and wire runs straight up to breaker box , my question is do these surge protectors make any noise , if so may want to find different location to mount , but this location is perfect for accessibility and where power cord is , suggestions ?

Ours in the rear basement right where the shore power cable comes in.  I removed the interior panel to access the back side of the power
cord and placed it in that area and then put the panel back.
No, they only make a heavy click once energized.   Good choice and good luck.  Phil

Are you talking about the rear panel on the side at rear door ? Mine has some tv cables attached to it also , didn’t know if it came out easy or not

Yes, I assume you have the rear trunk/basement with a compartment door on each side.  My plug on the former Cameo and the LS is on the left side rear just forward of the compartment door.
The panel is easily removable.  While hard to see, its held in place by screws that are sort of concealed by the marine carpet.
In our case, its a great spot for it as it was otherwise dead space.

Ok thanks for info , I will look at that option also , I have the 35sb3 the panel in the big storage compartment moves easy also and the power cord has a big loop in it there , I don’t have generator prep , so no transfer box , that was where I was thinking if it didn’t make a humming noise , then thought about putting monitor inside panel where slide switches are , it is strait up from there easy access

Can’t advise you on that one.  I’m surprised no one else has chimed-in.  I didn’t even know it was adjustable.  The 15 second has worked
for me for the 7 years I have had the EMS.  My remote pendant is inside, however, I an hear the definite click the unit makes once it
        energizes the RV.

If I understand correctly, I think the delay is for the acc unit

Yup, the extended delay is to protect the air conditioner. I have mine set for the delay, it’s a bit over two minutes.

Check your ac model specs. Some have the delay built in; a 2nd delay is not really needed unless you want it. BriskAirII models have it built in.

In certain storm areas, the second delay is a good idea to prevent domestic refrigerators and microwaves from blipping on and off.

Still haven’t had time to install but going to next few days , another question I have , I sometimes use a 20 amp 110 cord to run fridge before we go camping , can you still do that after installing ems-hw50c without error Code coming up ?
