My cabinet doors have yellowed over time. I would like to strip and refinish. My questions are: What type of finishing coat do they use on the cabinet doors (I am assuming polyurethane)? What type of finish do they use on the veneer for the cabinet frames? Thanks for your help!

Most of my woodworking is on new items and I don’t do much refinishing. While there are several different things you can use, probably the most common and easiest is Wipe On Poly; either glossy or satin. You can also use Danish Oil but since that actually dries below the surface you have to do a lot more stripping and sanding to remove the old finish. Hope this helps.
