Last summer we undertook to replace the lettering on our 2005 Carriage Cameo.  We got excellent ideas and suggestions from different members of this forum.  A special thanks to ‘falconhunter’ and ‘zim2205’ for their input and suggestions.  Ultimately we went with ordering replacement decals (lettering only) from Graphixunlimited and putting them on ourselves.   We used a 3M product, Woodgrain and Adhesive Remover,  to remove the old decals (or what was left of them).  It was a bit messy and you had to be careful to try and limited over-spray, but it worked exceptionally well.  The decals themselves were very easy to apply – it took us maybe an hour to do all four. The large one on the front, and the 2

along the sides and the 1 on the back.   The price was very reasonable – $160 US, which translated into $215 CDN and with brokerage fees it all came to $268 CDN.   What it did, however, was knock about 10 years off the appearance of our Carriage.   WELL, WORTH IT and not a big job.  We considered doing the striping/swirls as well but they were quite a bit more expensive.    Graphixunlimited were exceptional to deal with.   I will try to attached pictures, showing before and after.   A small job —  big results!  All made possible because of this forum.

  • 1. Click on the Download link provided below.

  • 4. The .zip file will appear in a pop-up winow. Click the "Save" button in the lower right corner of the popup.

  • 6. In the File Explorer window, your download will appear at the top of the list of downloads.
  • 7. Left click to "Highlight" the file.
  • 8. In the Header of the window, you'll see "Extract All"... A pop-up will appear, you can click "Extract" button to extract and save to the default location shown in the pop-up and open it from there or you can click on the "Browse" button and choose your preferred location to save it.
  • 9. Click on the "Extract" button.
  • 10. Once Extracted, you can open and view the file.
