- We Installed a residential frig!
I’M wondering should I seal the outside vents?
And how will it breath if I do?Thanks Don
Posted: 6:53 AM – Sep 14, 2014We installed a residential fridge a few weeks ago. We sealed the upper and lower vents completely. Ours is 4 inches from the real wall and there is several inches above the top. Even though the fridge is framed nicely in the cabinet, beyond the framing there is about 3 inches on each side. I don’t know what brand you installed, however, the Samsung is sealed in the back anyway. I don’t thing you have any worriers. PhillipPosted: 6:35 PM – Sep 15, 2014The residential fridge will vent to the inside just like in a house. I sealed both my vents with eternabond tape after installing our residential fridge. Over 3 years and no problems.Chip
