        Hi,

While traveling to Yuma last week, we had a tire blow out. Not that abnormal, I know, but when I did some checking into the tires on board, I determined that the tires were load range E, whereas the invoice for our LS37IK3 showed load range G tires. The load range E tires were barely acceptable for an empty trailer and under rated for a fully loaded trailer.

The GM at the tire store where we replaced the tires with a higher load range showed us where our old tires were quite stressed. (He did this after I had purchased the new ones, so it wasn’t as if he was trying to upsell me.)

You may want to check your RV to be sure that the tires on board actually match the tires specified on your invoice and are appropriate for the weight of your trailer.

        Best,

        Paul

This is the first time I’ve heard anything like this. Did you buy it new, or used? I wonder if the dealer or someone else swapped them out.

Phillip’s spare was that way, but was listed as all 5 being 17.5″ rims and tires. He got it replaced for free.

That’s right. The G614 tires were standard and I upgraded to 17.5 G114 and they failed to upgrade the spare. They sent me a new one and I sold the 16 on Craigslist. :)

I just replaced my Goodyear G 114 17.5 H range tires. They were not expensive at Discount Tires $269 each. After buying their replacement coverage and the other fees, $1,500 total. Money well spent for peace of mind.

Hi, this is properly the wrong place to post this but I didn’t know where to put it

Has anyone boondock with a residential refer, did you have to disconnect the refer because of battery drain, we have a  3500 Generator, but I don`t want to have to run it 24/7

            Thanks
