That’s interesting. Could you post the article, please? I wonder to what extent they will honor the warranties. I still have a little less than 3 years left or my 5 year frame warranty. No issues as of yet and hopefully none but sure would some piece of mind knowing its there.

Only thing I’ve been able to find is that Thor took over/purchased one of the EverGreen Lifestyle Assembly Buildings. EverGreen along with Lifestyle is being Auctioned off the last 3 days. Today is the last day. Best I can tell, Lifestyle & EverGreen is History. I’m not even sure if anyone’s even purchased the Rights to the Name.

I spoke to the Auctioneer asking about the rights to the lifestyle name and RV names. He told me that Thor bought all that and was planning to build them again.

I was down for the inspection of the lifestyle factory (intended on staying for the auction). It didn’t seem like a complete liquidation. They certainly had a lot of stuff, but a lot of it was in pretty bad shape, the office area and other areas were not in the auction and off limits, and it seemed like they were just getting rid of stuff they would not use.

I did not stay for the auction as issues arose back home, and nothing I saw struck me as either must have, or something I could pick up for pennies on the dollar.

I was also told that Evergreen has NOT YET filed for bankruptcy. I’d like to be able to find out for certain, because I do have a warranty claim that they owe me. Not that I have much chance to collect it, but i’m gonna make sure I put myself on the creditor list.

Which could mean Thor needs to increase capacity for their products, not that they are going to build Evergreen or LS products.

Has Thor ever bought a company that was belly up? I only know of Thor acquiring companies that are currently operating…like Jayco and Heartland.

Carriage and EverGreen went out of business but Emahizer seems to be doing OK:
