Does anyone know what the weather proof 30 amp fuse is for that is in the same outside compartment as the Bigfoot control module is in , Ive tried to trace the wires but they just disappear into the walls ?

On my Lifestyle that is the fused wire that leads to the +V lead from the tow vehicle to the trailer through the wiring harness.  It is the power that trickle charges the house batteries while connected to the truck.  If that is the case with your trailer and the fuse repeatedly blows, then the wire may well be shorted to ground somewhere.

You can use a DVM to check for continuity from the side of the fuse holder closest to the wall and the +12V lug on the cable to the truck outlet.  If there is continuity, then it is the +12V charging conductor.

Alternatively, you could check for continuity from the other side of the fuse holder to the +12V terminal on the battery to which the charging wire (smallest one on the anode) should be attached.

I’ve had the same problem. Haven’t run it down yet but thinking it might be if I happen to plug the truck in when the camper is still plugged into shore power. Still not sure and haven’t purchased extra fuses and taken the time to figure it out. I wish they came with a wiring diagram!

I checked with my multi meter and the 30 amp circuit is indeed the charging circuit from the truck to the house batteries, will check a bit further when I hook up to the truck .
